Another Trip Around the Sun

So today is hubby's birthday. It's a big one. The big Five-Oh. He actually mowed the lawn, but then he got to play 18 holes of golf, because it was a beautiful day for a change. Then he got taco supper and birthday cake.

After that, it was opening cards and presents.

Now he gets to have some fun. Because when you turn 50 in this house, you get . . . VIDEO GAMES!

Note to self get eyes checked. I read that as, "me MOVED the lawn" and I thought, "shit, I can't wait until my husband is the big 5-0 and he will MOVE the lawn" Happy B-day to the hubby.

In the infamous words of Arnooold,
"I'll be bachhhk"

Tell Randy "Happy Birthday". Danny turned 50 on April 12 ( I still have 1 year and 8 days). He got a sign from a "friend" that says "50 isn't old if you are a tree". I was pretty easy on him, but I did have it put on the marquee in front of the city office downtown, and had a 16x20 poster with several childhood pics of him put in the window next to the Post Office. I hope he forgets by next year, or I am probably in trouble.

Looking good Randy! Happy 5-0 to you.
Who's the other guys in the pic?

Look at all the great extra birthday greetings you're now getting because Linda has a blog.

Too bad we don't send gifts.

carla - That would be a good trick if your hubby could move your lawn. I'd have him move it to somewhere in the Bahamas.

heather - Just a bunch of big kids there!

di - Yeah, I'd watch my back if I were you. ;-)

tracy - Thanks, I'll tell him!

jeff - The one in the middle is Jessica's best friend and the other one is her boy friend. Mr. Best is smiling, but it looks like a bit of competition between Mr. Boy and Mr. Dad.
