Giving Thanks
A few years ago I wrote about the 50th Thanksgiving that my in-laws had spent with another couple. This year marked the 53rd, held at my sister-in-law's house, 40 in attendance.
Here is number one nephew Bob carving one of two turkeys.
No, that is not a used car lot.
It was nice enough outside for my niece to play with the dog.
Minnesota people will appreciate this pic.
These are the original couples. The rest of the pics are just people having fun, chilling out, some watching football.
All in all, a very nice Thanksgiving, so good to see people we have known for so long, to share what they have experienced this past year. The food wasn't bad, either.

A good time was had by all.
jess - It was an obscene amount of food, for sure.
randy - I believe you're right!
Nice, for everyone but the cook.
bill - Everyone brought something, so no one was overly burdened with the cooking. :-)
40 people!!! Oh how fun!! Especially when you didn't have to host it, or cook all the food!! I sure had an easy --but wonderful--Thanksgiving. Charli invited us down (to St. Cloud,) and she really put on the feast. Mike had to work, and Cindy and Don had signed up with the Salvation Army, to serve dinner at the DEC, for the homeless,so it was just us and them.We stayed over for 2 nights so Rick could help Jeff put in a new toilet the next day. Then on Sat. we headed up to Mikes, and stopped and visited with the kids. Mike was working again! We took them out for lunch and then headed home. NICE time!!!
lois - That sounds like a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend!
I'm still full!
