Whatever

We are leaving for Minnesota tomorrow. I'm going to photograph a vow renewal ceremony and we are going to celebrate our son's birthday. I haven't posted in awhile, so I thought I would post this.

I was doing laundry, along with all the other things you do when you are gone for a week, and I stubbed my toe. I've stubbed my toes a lot, because they tend to be large, but this one made an odd noise and it looked like this.

This is what the other foot looks like, which bears a similar resemblance to the way the first one looked.

My poor feet are weird enough looking, they don't need this crap! Although I must say, my toenails are pretty.

Love the nails, the breakage? Not so lovely.

I have 2 little toes on one foot because I broke the second toe in a while ago. It looks pretty strange.

It should be above freezing up here in MN now.

lois - We stopped at a doctor we used to go to in Wichita because we knew we could 'walk in,' no pun intended. He said yes it was broken and probably a torn ligament on the left side, keep it taped and elevated and iced. I have the wedding on Saturday to photograph. But I figure if Tiger could win a U.S. Open on that knee, in a playoff, I can do a wedding on this foot!

heather - Toe breaking is nasty stuff. Yes, we are here now and the AC is on. Glad to see you are back to the blogging, hope all the baby stuff is settling in.

Oh man, Linda. I hope it heals quickly. I've broken toes before too and it is pretty darn painful. Try to take it easy!

Well, try to have a wonderful time on your trip, despite the broken toe!

tracy - Yeah, I've had broken toes, also, but never one that went quite that direction! It's been on ice a good portion of the day.

di - After what you did to your arm/hand, you're probably saying pshaw, it's just a TOE. And I wouldn't blame you!

Baby stuff? Something you're not telling me? Am I going to be an aunt again? :) Anyway, the toe looks really, really painful but I love the pedi. I'm jealous!

sis - No, goofball, Heather just had a baby! Yeah, I like the pedi. The foot is healing okay, actually. At this point it looks worse than it feels. I'm sitting at Christina's parents' house waiting to photograph the wedding. I hope we have no camera disasters . . like exploding flashes.
